Dr. Ajayi obtained his degree in Petroleum Engineering three decades ago from the University of Port-Harcourt. He further enhanced his expertise by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London South Bank University. Additionally, he holds a PhD in Ministry and Administration and is in the final stages of completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at UBIS Switzerland. Complementing his academic qualifications, Dr. Ajayi is a certified Prince2 Practitioner and a registered COREN Engineer. He also serves as a mentor at the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Texas, USA, and holds a NEBOSH Certification in Health and Safety. 

With over thirty years of experience in the oil, gas, and mining industries, Dr. Ajayi's role as Executive Chairman and GCEO encompasses a broad range of critical responsibilities. These include making pivotal corporate decisions, managing overall operations and resources, formulating both short- and long-term strategies, and serving as the primary spokesperson for the companies. He excels in evaluating the performance of other executive leaders, maintaining a keen awareness of market landscapes and expansion opportunities, and ensuring the highest standards of corporate social responsibility.

Dr. Ajayi is adept at risk assessment and mitigation, setting measurable strategic goals, and driving exceptional results for the organizations he leads. His extensive experience in business startups, project management, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices, combined with his NEBOSH Certification, underscores his commitment to operational excellence and sustainable business practices.
